The Catalyst 100 Fund is a bold initiative of the Columbus Area Chamber Foundation designed to strengthen at least 100 small businesses in Bartholomew County in 500 days. The program provides no cost access to mentoring & professional services to help small businesses strengthen operations, develop growth strategies, improve financial clarity and systems, & increase readiness for loan or investment.

Benefits

Participants will receive one of the following technical services after completing at least two one-hour mentoring sessions with SCORE or ISBDC advisors:

Accounting

Up to 4 hours of accounting with a Catalyst 100 partner provider.(Participant must have QuickBooks Online to receive accounting services.)

Legal

Up to 2 hours of legal services with a Catalyst 100 partner provider.

Marketing

Up to $1000 of marketing services with a Catalyst 100 partner provider (web design, branding, business card design, marketing strategy, etc.)

Hospitality Consulting

Up to 4 hours of restaurant consulting with a Catalyst 100 partner provider.


Eligibility

  • Principal business address in Bartholomew County, IN

  • Operating for at least 1 year & has initiated regular business operations (incurring expenses, generating revenue, or hiring employees)

  • Registered & in good standing with the IN Secretary of State

  • 10 or fewer FTE (full-time equivalent) employees

  • Under $500,000 in annual revenue

  • Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce membership is not required

  • Commitment to the following:

    • At least 2 hours of mentorship through SCORE or ISBDC

    • Punctually & professionally attend scheduled meetings with technical assistance vendors

    • Following through on action steps & responding promptly to check-ins & inquiries

    • Completion of Catalyst 100 exit survey
